At first the scent profile sounded weird/bizarre to me, but I was intrigued. I went ahead and bought it, and was not disappointed in the least! Up front I get the sweetness of the Gooseberry and Lilac, but then comes in the earthy Leather and Oakmoss. Best way I can describe this awesome scent, is a Sweet, Earthy scent that is very pleasing to the senses. It's a lighter scent to me, not gonna be punching you in the face all day, but you will get nice hints of it throughout the day. The balm itself is a bit tougher to get out, hence the pick that comes with it. It does break down with a few extra rubs in hand, and breaks down nicely. It does not leave my beard feeling heavy or greasy, and has a nice medium hold to it leaving my beard feeling really soft. I would highly recommend this balm and scent to anyone who asks!
